· Shorting bars are inserted from the top of the terminal block, which in turn makes it easy to check the common part from atop the terminal block.
· Shorting bars and the terminal screws are connected at separate locations, which means that two wires can be connected for each screw, helping save on space.
· Can be used for checks such as electrical testing by simply removing the shorting bar.
