HIF3B Series MIL Standard-Compliant Ribbon Cable Connector【1-100 Pieces Per Package】
MIL Standard-compliant ribbon cable connector. A wide variety are available and are used broadly in numerous types of devices and equipment.
[Features]
· MIL Standard-compliant: The HIF3B Series was developed as a MIL standard-compliant product, and is used for a broad range of purposes.
· Compatible with the HIF3 Series.
· UL certified product: The HIF3B Series is UL-certified as a connector.
· Mechanism for preventing incorrect insertion: Guiding method (MIL Standard) where guide keys are inserted in the pin header-side to create convex parts, which are fitted with the concave parts of sockets.
· Guiding is achieved via insertion of a polarizing key into the socket hole.
· Guiding achieved by fitting a convex element on the socket-side (HIF3A type) with a slot in the center of the pin-header side.

Dedicated tools compatible with each terminal are necessary for connecting crimped contacts.
Contact insertion method
After confirming the crimping contact orientation, insert all the way to the back of the insulation case.
After inserting, lightly pull on the cable to confirm whether the contact lance is firmly fixed into the insulation case.
