HR10 Series Miniature Circular Connector
This interface connector for cameras is considered the de facto standard. Also, due to the small size, lightweight, and excellent operability, this item can be used with a wide range of equipment.
[Features]
• The HR10 is a small giant: It's small size is roughly the same diameter thickness as a cigarette.
• The interior features the necessary functions for a connector in a small, high reliability package, and everything comes together with good balance.
• Insertion operations are extremely simple: features a single-action pushable lock mechanism for quick insertion.
• Especially useful during insertion, no matter what portion of the connector is maintained, you can press on it to confirm it's properly locked.
• You'll never insert this connector incorrectly: Thanks to the five keys, it can never be inserted anywhere except the prescribed location no matter how much you fumble with it.
• The five keys must be aligned before contact can occur: The contact points are set up in a safe position to ensure they are not damaged through fumbling to get the five keys aligned.
• Can be used to increase implementation density: Because the push pull lock can be used for insertion operations even in confined spaces, multiple connectors can be implemented in close proximity.
• This product doesn't use any small screws, so wiring implementation is easy: Connector breakdown, and assembly can be completed without the need for a screwdriver, and wiring implementation can be completed easily with just a JIS wrench.
• Simple and slim design: The exterior shape is simple and slim, and the surface processing uses a satin finish, so it isn't easily noticed like most connectors and allows you to create an equipment setup that doesn't detract from the beauty of the space. The design matches especially well with small equipment.

- 2. The standard finish of the terminal is gold plating for the HR10, and silver plating for the HR10A and HR10G. Be sure to use male and female connectors of the same plating.

Wiring procedure (plug side)

(Note) In order to prevent loosening, apply a screw-locking adhesive at the threaded section. | (1) Fix by crimping the clamp accompanying the cable with the cable crimping tool (HR10A-TC-02). (2) Screw the plug body into the thread in the P shell unit with the tightening force shown in Table 1 using a torque wrench with a fixed torque. Before tightening the plug body, slacken part D so that no load is applied to the soldered wires. (3) Tighten the set screw so that the tip of the screw presses one of the 2 bosses on the clamp. Fix the set screw with a tightening torque of 0.3 N·m (3 kgf/cm.) (4) Attach the cord bushing to the plug body. - 2. Use connectors with socket (female) contacts at the power side of the circuit.
- 3. Make sure that the coupling is in the completely locked position.
- 4. Cable clamping, cable rotation, and other forces may vary with the cable construction. Make sure that your cable is suitable for use with these connectors before usage and production.
