Flat cable are cables similar to bands in which multiple thin cables are bundled in a flat shape. These cables are often used for reducing wiring within control boards with limited space. One advantage of flat cables is that they can be easily crimped and fit into connectors. Flat cables can also be folded more easily than ordinary round cables. However, their disadvantages include poor noise resistance and weak tensile strength, making the cable easy to break.
