[LAN Cable Selection Key Points]
LAN cables are classified according to standards by "Category". Select a "Category" of cable according to the LAN product standard required. In general, products with high Category numbers such as Cat7 and Cat6A correspond to standards in the following categories. If not sure which cable to select, we recommend that you select products with higher numbers, such as Cat7 or Cat6A.
[Latest Cat7 Cables]
The latest category 7 (Cat7) LAN cables support communication speeds of 10 Gbps, transmission bandwidths of 600 MHz, have increased noise-resistance, and fully support the next generation 10 Gigabit "10GBASE-T" Ethernet. (Cat7 cables do not use RJ45 connectors.)
