Heating equipment is the equipment used to heat a variety of materials, including liquid, metal, and glass. Hot plates heat liquids and the like in containers by placing them on a plate, and they can also heat industrial parts. Equipment generally has a heating range from room temperature to around 400°C, but there are also low-temperature hot plates that heat to around 80°C and high-temperature hot plates that heat to close to 600°C.
