Glove Compartments（Sterilization lamp：NA）

Gloveboxes are box-shaped instruments for handling compounds in an inert atmosphere and working in an environment isolated from the outside air (atmosphere). Rubber gloves are attached directly to the interior of the box and work can be done isolated from the outside air. There are vacuum types where the air in the box is expelled by a vacuum pump and then inert gas introduced, flow types where the interior of the box is expelled by the flow (pressure) of inert gas, and others. Work such as raw material preparation to reaction, solvent distillation, and column chromatography can be done. Even if a small leak occurs in the box, the gas inside will leak to the atmosphere only, and intrusion of outside air can be prevented. There are simple types that can be easily assembled, those equipped with ultraviolet germicidal lamps and internal fluorescent lamps, flat and sloped boxes where gas exchange desiccators are equipped with glove holders and can be used without opening the door, and others.
