Hand Taps(Coating Y/N:NA)

An online store for hand taps. In MISUMI's e-catalog (online general catalog), specifications/dimensions of nominal, pitch, screw type, delivery date, etc. can be selected with one click, so you can easily find the desired hand tap.

[What is a hand tap?]
It is the most versatile cutting tap, usable for both "blind holes and through holes", with straight grooves taking into consideration storage of chips. It is mainly used for thread cutting in tapping drilling machines and tap handles. Tap types include front (1, 9 P) tap, middle (2, 5 P) tap, and upper (3, 1.5 P) tap depending on the length (number of teeth) of the biting part. There are two types of materials, mainly HSS (= high speed steel) and carbide: HSS is tough and hard to break and carbide is abrasion resistant.
