This is an I/O connector for servo motor signals. It has excellent seismic resistance, is waterproof, and is easily removable, so it can also be used for an extensive array of other applications.

MS connectors are compliant with the MIL standard. Plugs come in straight and right-angled versions, and waterproof and TUV-certified versions are available for selection.

• Plugs include waterproof versions: Waterproof plugs come in L-shaped and straight types. The L-shaped types use a divided shell so as not to impede wiring.
• Plugs are structured to be waterproof when fitted to a receptacle.
• Waterproof performance is IP67 or better: Types whose receptacle is a male terminal are waterproof as a unit.
• Receptacles are waterproof as units, preventing moisture from infiltrating into the machinery from outside. (Types with female terminals are not waterproof as units.)
• TUV-certified connectors are equipped with protection circuits (ground): When the connector is pulled out, the protection circuit (ground) connects before any other circuit, and breaks after other circuits break.
