Linear Bushings（Types：Related Components）
A linear bushing is a linear motion mechanism used as a rolling guide. As it is used in combination with a shaft and has a structure that utilizes the rolling of steel balls, infinite linear motion is possible as long as the shaft continues. Various companies use different names, such as slide bushings, linear ball bearings, linear bushings and linear bearings.

Compared to bearings for sliding guides, they are capable of linear motion with low friction and high accuracy, allowing use for various applications.

· Due to the provision of 4 circular arc grooves (rolling grooves), the LG type does not required a rotation stopper mechanism in the outer cylinder.
· Also, compared with the linear bushing LM type of the same size, the rated load is substantially higher.
· Hence, by replacing the linear bushing with a guide ball bushing, a more compact form, lower cost and longer life can be achieved.
