Thirty-degree trapezoidal lead screws are parts that have screw threads angled at 30 degrees and trapezoidal cross-sections. Thirty-degree trapezoidal lead screws are a type of feed screw used for machine tool operation. Instead of fastening, they are used for linear movement of mechanical components such as screw jacks. The shafts come in a wide range of shapes, such as stepped at both ends, stepped at one end, double-stepped at one end, double-stepped at both ends and straight.
