Flat Hinges（Flat Hinge Type：Stepped Type (Both Way Foldable)）
Flat hinges & leaf hinges are the most orthodox type of many hinges. Hinges are used to open and close doors or lids, and should be selected according to the place of use, the thickness of the door and the mounting position, etc. Flat hinges, which are indispensable components for opening and closing operations, have symmetrical shapes consisting of 2 wings and 1 rotary shaft. By contrast, leaf hinges are components designed by applying the structure of flat hinges, and have asymmetrical shapes. Some of flat hinges and leaf hinges are made of metal such as stainless steel and zinc alloy, and some are cast hinges particularly excellent in durability, and some are made of resin for its light weight and rust-resistance.
