Warning

• *1. When using water, make sure the surge pressure stays below the maximum operating pressure.
• *2. Tap water of the standard equivalent to the water supply in Japan can be used. Please inquire if you want to use other kinds of water.
• *3. Be sure to use an insert ring when connecting to a one-touch fitting and using water.
• *4. The maximum operating pressure is the value at 20°C 65% RH. When using the product at other temperatures, maintain a sufficient margin of safety from the burst pressure curve. Note that if the tube is in an area that is subject to shaking, bending, or other movement, intermolecular heat generation may raise the temperature of the tube and cause it to break.

Precautions

Warning

1. 1. Avoid stretching, twisting, over-bending, or otherwise straining the tubes. This may crush or rupture the tubes or cause them to come loose.
2. 2. Avoid scraping the tubes by rubbing or entwining them. This may cause the tubes to rupture.
3. 3. The tube burst pressure is a reference value calculated based on interaction with a hoop. Since the burst pressure decreases with increasing temperature, be sure to maintain a sufficient margin of safety based on a good understanding of the operating pressure in this documentation.
4. 4. The minimum bending radius and the minimum mounting radius of the tube are the values at 20°C 65% RH and are not guaranteed values. When wrapping the tube around a mandrel (cylindrical rod), use the minimum bending radius value as a guide. Otherwise, use the minimum mounting radius value. In addition, since the values vary depending on the usage environment and tube length, it is important to adequately consider compatibility with the actual equipment to be used before deciding on a solution.
5. 5. When connecting an extremely soft tube such as the Soft Polyurethane Tube (UC) or Vacuum Tube (UD) to a one-touch fitting and flowing water through it, be sure to use the insert ring (WR). Failure to use the insert ring may cause the tube to detach.
6. 6. In places where spattering occurs, do not use any tube other than the Sputter Tube (FB). There is a risk that the spattering may cause a fire.
7. 7. In areas requiring electrostatic dissipation and antistatic measures, do not use any tube other than the Antistatic Tube (UE). There is a risk that the system may fail or malfunction due to static electricity.
8. 8. If there is an abnormal increase in temperature due to adiabatic compression, the tube might break.
9. 9. Before using the product outdoors or otherwise deviating from the fluids, conditions, and environments described in the specifications, it is necessary to give adequate consideration to safety precautions as well as compatibility with the actual equipment to be used.

1. 1. Use a tube that meets or exceeds the minimum bending radius and minimum mounting radius.
2. 2. When piping with tubes, be sure to allow enough room to accommodate changes in tube length and other future modifications.
3. 3. When connecting a tube to a one-touch fitting, make sure that the tube has been cut at a right angle, that the outside of the tube is free of scratches, and that the tube does not form an ellipse.
4. 4. Note that the effective area varies depending on the length of the tube piping. When installing long piping, refer to "Effective Area of Piping" under "Tube Performance."
