Point Tap Oxide Treated PO-OX(N-PO-OX) (Part Numbers)
Point taps with oxide treatment (OX).
[Features]
· The film produced by oxide treatment becomes an oil reservoir (oil pocket) for machining oil, reducing frictional resistance.
· This prevents parts welding together and improves the finished surface roughness of the female thread.
· Oxide treatment is also effective for removing residual stress from the tap, extending the life span.
[Applications]
· Ideal for machining easily welded materials such as stainless steel or low carbon steel.
