Name Plates for Switches

Switch name plates are installed on devices or machines and display information such as the name, application, function and operating method of the corresponding switch. In addition to switch boards, power distribution boards and control panels, these name plates are often used on telecommunications equipment or industrial machinery where there is a strong need for a switch explanation. For some types, text describing the switch is printed and installed around the push-button switch, while for others, the name plate is installed at the base of a toggle switch to describe the result of moving the lever in that direction. Also, when using the type where switch names are printed to distinguish multiple switches, elements such as the text and colors need to be selected. Materials include acrylic, resin, aluminum and brass, which should be selected according to the switch type and operating environment.
