Board Heaters / Heat Sinks

Board heaters and heatsinks are heating and cooling devices mounted to control panels. A board heater is mounted inside a control panel in order to protect the control panel from humidity and freezing, and the temperature is maintained to a higher level by the electrical insulation resistance. Compact heaters are also available to enable installation even in space-restricted locations. Examples of use are for duct heaters or general heaters, the heat sources of devices in industrial fields, and for heating the air and other gases. Heatsinks are mounted to equipment parts or electrical parts that generate heat in order to dissipate the heat and reduce the temperature. Plates or bars are used to make fins that enlarge the surface area, and the material is usually aluminum or copper. Examples of use are devices or electrical circuits such as CPUs that generate a lot of heat.
