Scales

Dimensional measurement tools are tools used to draw straight/curved lines or to measure lengths. Major types of these tools are rulers, framing squares, circular saw rulers, and they are sometimes referred to as measuring scales. Materials include stainless steel, silver, steel, bamboo, acrylic, transparent plastic, and more. There are JIS standards that specify ruler shapes and materials. Rulers used with circular saws are commonly called circular saw guide rails, and they are constructed for use in cutting work with circular saws. Some circular saw rulers have bubble levels to be used as level gauges.
