Compression spring washers are tools for preventing loosening or disconnection of compression springs. The elastic energy per unit volume of compression springs is larger than for regular springs, resulting in higher energy absorption efficiency. Therefore, dedicated washers for compression springs are often used as a set with compression springs. Most compression spring washers are ring-shaped. Types include tapped types that make it easy to fix the spring and adjust the deflection, and brimmed types suitable for stabilizing the inner diameter of the spring. Also, 2-side cut types that have a linear cut on both sides of the ring, and products with treatment such as fine, uneven knurling are available. Select the shape according to the application. Materials such as resin or metal are often used due to their strength and resistance to deterioration.
