- *Field of view: actual observable range of sample. Value of eyepiece field of view number (range of objective lens image observable with eyepiece) divided by objective lens magnification.
- *Working Distance: distance from sample to objective lens end when creating an image of the sample.
- *Working distance differs by the objective lens magnification.
- *Changing the objective lens changes the working distance. Refocus to use.
- *Overall magnification multiplies together the respective magnifications of the objective lens and the eyepiece.
- *To focus on the sample, use a separately sold stand, or a focusing mechanism. Focusing becomes harder as the objective lens magnification increases.
